Refund Policy
Draft pending legal review. The product is free today; this covers how credits and failed jobs will be handled once paid plans open.
Payment processing, invoices & how refunds reach you
Payment is not yet enabled. During the current phase the Service is free and no paid checkout is live (see Pricing). The following describes how payments and refunds will work once paid plans open, so business customers can make informed decisions in advance.
- Who processes your payment. When paid plans open, payment will be handled through
[支付处理方]. Card / PayPal and merchant-of-record options may be processed by an international processor (e.g. PayPal or a merchant-of-record such as Creem). Alipay / WeChat Pay payments may be collected through a third-party aggregation service settling to a personal account, rather than through a registered company merchant account. We disclose this so you understand who holds the payment relationship. - Invoices — please read (honest disclosure). For payments collected via a personal/aggregation channel, we are not able to issue a VAT invoice (增值税发票) or a formal company invoice (发票). We do not promise to provide one. The most we can provide for such payments is a payment confirmation / receipt. If your accounting requires a formal invoice, please confirm the available documentation before purchasing. Where payment is processed by a merchant-of-record (e.g. Creem/PayPal), that processor may issue its own receipt/invoice under its name, not ours.
- How refunds reach you. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method / channel where technically possible. For merchant-of-record / PayPal payments, refunds follow that processor's standard flow and timing. For Alipay / WeChat Pay collected via a personal-aggregation channel, refunds may be processed manually (initiated by us back through the same channel or by direct transfer to your Alipay/WeChat), because funds settle to a personal account rather than an automated merchant gateway. Manual refunds are completed within

A personal-aggregation collection channel can be subject to account restriction or fund holds by the underlying payment provider. If such an event delays our ability to process a refund, we will complete it through an alternative method as soon as reasonably possible and will keep you informed. This does not remove your refund entitlement under this policy.

This Refund Policy applies to paid plans for the Service, which is operated by an individual operator (not a company). It works together with our Terms of Service.
1. Scope

2. Subscription refunds [待03定价]
- We offer a

3. Usage-based / consumed credits [待03定价]
- For usage-based billing (
[BILLING_UNIT]), already-consumed processing (jobs run, minutes/credits used) is non-refundable, because each job triggers real third-party AI/TTS/compute costs. - Unused prepaid balance may be refundable per

4. Quality issues, failed jobs & "needs review" [待03定价]
- Failed jobs (
failed): a job that fails produces no usable output, so it is not charged (or, if usage/credits were already deducted, they are restored/refunded). Re-running a failed job via the retry flow is free. completed_needs_review: a job that completes with aneeds reviewflag has produced a real localized output, so it is charged normally; the "needs review" status is shown prominently and you may re-run it via the retry flow. Re-run is the primary remedy.- The free re-run / retry remedy is limited to the ~7-day output retention window. Because we do not store your media long-term — your source and intermediate products are deleted as soon as the job completes, and the output is kept for approximately 7 days then automatically deleted (see Privacy §4 / Terms §4b) — the free re-run / retry remedy and any problem trace-back against the kept output are available only within that ~7-day output window. A source-level re-run requires you to re-upload, because the source has already been deleted. After the output is deleted (~7 days), we cannot retrieve or restore the job; you would need to re-upload and run a new job. Please download and review your output within the window.
- A refund is not owed merely because output requires review or because a watermark-free source could not be obtained from a platform link (these are flagged honestly in the review report; see Terms §3), nor because you did not download/re-run within the ~7-day output window.
5. Non-refundable circumstances
- Charges for content you had no right to process, or use that violates the Terms.
- Already-consumed usage as in §3.
- Agency/bulk custom arrangements are governed by their specific agreement.

6. How to request
Contact support@aivideotranslator.co with your account and job details. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method / channel where technically possible (see §0a). For payments collected via a personal-aggregation channel, refunds may be processed manually back through the same channel; timing depends on the payment processor / channel.
7. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new effective date.
